Public Relations Plan

Two Media Exposure Ideas
1. Instagram
2. Twitter

For my first idea of media exposure, we will stage a publicity event in the Campus Center on Wednesday, January 15th, 2025. Students and faculty spend most of their time on campus, which makes it a convenient location for them to learn about the program. By meeting on campus, the program can achieve higher attendance and participation. The Campus Center is a busy area; by hosting the event there, the program can attract a steady flow of students who may not have initially planned to attend or haven’t heard about it. This also allows students to ask questions about the program, meet the staff and give any feedback they have. This also allows staff members to see the program, potentially inspiring them to teach a class or a workshop if they want to. Finally, with the event in person, you can ask students to scan a QR code to sign up for a class or workshop.

My second idea for media exposure is having a class to discuss the program's offerings. Then, we will make a meal plan recipe and provide an example of a workout at the end of the class. Every student who shows up will receive a free t-shirt and water bottle. By including a meal plan recipe and a workout demonstration, the class offers hands-on learning and students like it when they can take information and apply it to their lives. Providing free items could attract more students and be a reminder of the program. Students always like free items, especially clothing. When students see their friends and classmates wearing this t-shirt, this could promote questions, make other students curious about the program, and attract them to join.
